Several architectural innovations were required to improve the living room and to provide a space for entertaining in this early 20th century home. An extensive media wall, with hidden cove lighting and a high-end sound system, provides a dynamic focal point without dominating the room. Sliding doors, replacing existing hinged doors, provide an additional highlight and facilitate furniture layout. Luxurious materials and refined molding details enhance the traditional elements originally found in the room.
